What do you enjoy doing outside of your career? I love reading and I like to run.
How long have you been a member of the Center for Women? I became a member on May 11, 2012.
What inspired you to become a member? I was inspired not only by the great women who are members, but the phenomenal women who make up the staff.
What kind of impact has the Center for Women had on you? It has broadened my vision as to what is possible for me as a career woman, wife, and mother.
How has living day-to-day as a woman affected you? I feel blessed that God chose me to be a woman. I believe that living day-to-day as a woman has made me more sensitive to the power that we have as humans to not only bring forth life in the physical sense, but the power we have through our thoughts, words, and deeds to progress life for those around us.
What kind of message would you like to send out to women who are trying to succeed in today’s economy? Opportunity always exists if we are willing to step outside of our comfort zone and seize the opportunity. Sometimes life may require you to take one step backward in order to take two steps forward, the power is in learning to appreciate the journey not the destination.
How can people connect with you?
